After a refreshing night at the El Rancho, we got an early enough start on Sunday (day 3) that we crossed into Arizona and hit the
Jack Rabbit trading post before it was open. Their "HERE IT IS" sign is an iconic piece of Route 66, and of course another "Cars" inspiration. I really wanted a picture of us riding the jack rabbit, but we stayed in the Jeep to take pictures, as there was a cold rain falling. Harbinger of bad things to come, as it turns out....
